Slotless Motor Core Lamination In China
Coreless motor core lamination, also known as slotless motor core lamination. Compared with traditional slotted motor lamination, coreless DC motors do away with the laminated iron core in the rotor, and a stationary high-performance toroidal magnet makes up the core of the motor.
Lamnow is a leading BLDC slotless motor stator lamination manufacturer in China. Our coreless motor lamination manufacturing process wire cutting, laser cutting, progressive stamping, bonding, epoxy powder coating, and winding.
Whether you need a standard slotless motor stator rotor or a customized ironless stator/rotor, our diversified choices can meet your requirements.
Customized Coreless DC Motor Lamination
The slotless brushless motor design eliminates the cogging effect and traditional brushes, uses an electronic commutator to reduce torque pulsation, and achieves smooth acceleration control and position control. Slotless motors have high power density, low moment, lightweight, high mechanical stiffness, high precision, and stability,.etc advantages.
We can design and manufacture the high-performance brushless motor slotless iron core, our coreless motor laminate applied for industrial robotics, drones, surgical robots, medical instruments, electric aircraft, and power tools.

Our Production Process For Coreless Motor Stator Lamination
Slotless Stator Core Prototyping
Lamnow coreless motor stator lamination prototyping process involves laser cutting and wire cutting. We can also manufacture lamination samples according to the customer’s specified cutting technology.
The samples’ lead time takes around 7-15 days. This streamlined process not only accelerates development but also ensures that final products meet stringent industry standards.
Stamping Slotless Motor Lamination Stacks
Our slotless motor stator core stamping process involves high-speed progressive stamping. Progressive stamping machine can punch the thickness of 0.1 mm-0.5 mm silicon steel. The silicon steel brand involves Baosteel, Shougang, JFE, etc.
Lamnow can provide single-row progressive mold, double-row progressive mold, and multiple-row progressive mold to manufacture motor stators and rotor lamination to reduce material waste.
We also provide compound stamping and rotary notching to produce medium-and-large rotor and stator lamination.
The motor lamination bonding process involves single lamination to bond the complete core. Our glue bonding and backlack self-bonding process is widely used in slotless stator sample manufacturing to improve motor performance.
We also offer several stacking methods for coreless motor laminations, such as laser welding and interlocking. The interlocking process is suitable for mass production. Laser welding is suitable for samples and small production.
Coreless Motor Core Lamination Bonding
Slotless Core Epoxy Powder Coating
We have multiple automatic electrostatic epoxy coating lines to coat slotless electric motor lamination core. Our capabilities to coat various specific powder classes(B, F, H) for motor laminations stacks up to 500mm outside diameter. The coating thickness of 0.15mm-0.6mm.
This method ensures a uniform and resilient insulation layer, shielding the soltless laminations from environmental factors such as moisture, chemicals, and abrasion.
Slotless Motor Stator Winding
Lamnow slotless motor winding process involves winding copper wires around a stator core that lacks slots, which reduces cogging torque and improves motor efficiency.
In this process, the stator core is first insulated to protect against short circuits. Then, precise automation machinery winds the copper wire directly onto the core, forming a winding with optimal density and minimal resistance.
This type of winding is common in high-efficiency applications, such as drone motors, where smooth and consistent operation is essential.

Slotless motor Laminaties FAQS
A slotless motor is a type of electric motor without slots in its stator core. Instead of having winding coils in slots, the coils are wound and set around the stator core in a smooth manner, reducing cogging torque and offering smoother rotation.
A slotless motor differs from a slotted motor primarily in its stator design. In slotless motors, the windings are placed around a smooth, slot-free stator core, which minimizes cogging torque – the jerky motion caused by magnetic forces in slotted motors.
This design offers smoother operation, particularly at low speeds, and higher efficiency at high speeds due to reduced iron losses.
Slotless motors excel in applications needing precision and quiet operation, though they may provide less starting torque than slotted motors.
