Stator And Rotor Laminations Manufacture Process For Air Conditioner Compressor
Air Compressor Lamination Stamping Mold
Lamnow designs and manufactures interlocking progressive dies, compound dies, and notching dies for air conditioner motor cores. We use mold materials including tungsten steel, SKD11, DC53, 50#, etc. Lamnow’s tooling life is up to 100 million strokes, and manufacturing time is around 20 days.
Whether you need single rows, double rows, multiple rows high-speed stamping molds, single-cavity compound molds, or cost-effective soft tooling, we can meet your requestions.
Lamination Stamping Cutting For Air Compressor Motor
We have more than a dozen sets of 25-500 tonnage progressive stamping and compound stamping machines to manufacture lamination cores.
High-speed progressive punching can achieve interlock in mold, and ensure stator and rotor high accuracy and consistency. It is cost-effective for high-volume production.
Compound stamping uses a single stamping die to perform multiple operations simultaneously, offering enhanced production speed and complex geometries.
For small production, we offer laser cutting and wire cutting to cut silicon steel, and employ riveting, laser welding, or glue bonding to stack lamination to complete cores.
We provide two common manufacturing techniques for aluminum cage rotors. The first involves melting aluminum and injecting it into a mold that contains the rotor core. The second method consists of assembling and welding aluminum end rings and conductive bars onto the rotor.
Lamnow has 7 sets of 160-650-ton die-casting machines with a maximum capacity of 500,000 per month. We can guarantee aluminum cage rotor casting quality, including aluminum filling rate, and porosity factor.

Air Compressor Motor Stator Winding
We offer both manual and automated winding methods to meet varying air conditioning compressor motor stator production needs.
For small production, our skilled technicians meticulously wrap copper wire around the stator core according to the drawing.
For mass production, we have multiple automated winding machines to wind the stator coils, enhancing production speed and uniformity.
Air Conditioner Compressor Laminations FAQS
An air conditioning compressor compresses and drives the refrigerant in the air conditioner refrigerant circuit. It is positioned in the outdoor unit.
These compressor extracts the refrigerant from the low-pressure area, compress it, and send it to the high-pressure area for cooling and condensation. The heat is dissipated into the air through the heat sink, and the refrigerant also changes from gas to liquid, and the pressure increases.
Compressor types: reciprocating, scroll, rotary, and variable-speed compressors.
An air-conditioning compressor main winding consists of multiple turns of copper wire, wound around the stator core. The secondary winding, made of fewer turns of copper wire, is also wound on the stator core and connected in parallel with the main winding.
The main winding generates the rotating magnetic field that drives the motor, while the secondary winding boosts the current in the main winding, helping to improve motor efficiency and performance. Both work together to ensure smooth operation.
